2006-09-09using [xa]sprintf for string concatenation is neat and savesDenis Vlasenko
~100 bytes according to bloatcheck. Also this fixes bug in rpm
2006-07-01Remove all usage of the "register" storage class specifier."Robert P. J. Day"
2006-06-30Make warnings go away.Rob Landley
2006-06-30Fix bug 744 by moving the flushing logic into the exhausted read buffer test.Rob Landley
(Also some other minor cleanups while I was there, shouldn't affect the resulting binary.)
2006-04-19Patch from Jean Wolter:Rob Landley
it looks like the introduced support for character classes and equivalence classes is not correct. The attached patch tries to fix some symptoms and tries to make tr behave like gnu tr for the added test cases. The patch  - removes if clauses with side effects  - fixes handling of buffer pointer (strcat added characters to the    buffer without increasing the buffer pointer)  - re-arranges character classes to match ASCII order regards, Jean
2006-04-10We use -funsigned-char now, so having a separate RESERVE_CONFIG_UBUFFER isRob Landley
a bit silly. Wean of that where it currently makes no difference...
2006-03-06Robert P. Day removed 8 gazillion occurrences of "extern" on functionRob Landley
definitions. (That should only be on prototypes.)

2001-07-09Patch from vodz to support 'tr a-z A-Z' syntax.Eric Andersen
2001-07-02Per patch from vodz, change a couple of consts to defines, sinceEric Andersen
apparently gcc 2.95.4, at least, is too stupid to realize that a "static const int" is in fact a constant.
2001-05-24Some more patchelttes from Larry Doolittle.Mark Whitley
2001-04-25Move messages.c to libbb. Make each string in messages.c be its own .o file.Eric Andersen
This way, we can new get rid of all that tedious #define rubbish we used to need to enable specific messages. This way is enormously simpler, and as a bonus also ends up saving us 96 bytes. -Erik

2001-02-20It turns out that DODMALLOC was broken when I reorganized busybox.hEric Andersen
header file usage before the 0.49 release. To fix it, I had to move the '#include "busybox.h"' to the end of the list of #include files. -Erik
2001-02-14This patch, put together by Manuel Novoa III, is a merge of workEric Andersen
done by Evin Robertson (bug#1105) and work from Manuel to make usage messages occupy less space and simplify how usage messages are displayed.
2001-01-31Removed trailing \n from error_msg{,_and_die} messages.Matt Kraai
2001-01-27Fix header file usage -- there were many unnecessary header files included inEric Andersen
busybox.h which slowed compiles. I left only what was needed and then fixed up all the apps to include their own header files. I also fixed naming for pwd.h and grp.h functions. Tested to compile and run with libc5, glibc, and uClibc. -Erik

2000-07-10Patch from Matt Kraai <kraai@alumni.carnegiemellon.edu>:Eric Andersen
